Cold War Stein

The front of the stein features the insignia of the 7406th Suppout Squadron ("semper vigallus" always vigilant). The primary assignement of the squadron was aerial reconnaissance. Below the insignia is Rhein - Main where the squadron was stationed from 1955 to 1972. Below that it's dated 1968 -1971. On the top of the body the stein is named to Captain Robert A. Federowicz. On the left side of the stein is the coat of arms for Frankfurt. On the right side is is the coat of arms of the USAF. The finial is a C-130 which were flown by the squadron.
