The mug was made and painted in the studio of the sculptor Isaev S. He is also the author of the shape of this mug. Isaev has developed a line of similar 3D mugs. Sergey Isaev is currently a member of the professional association of ceramic artists' artels "Gzhel Masters".
Gzhel is one of the largest and oldest territorial centers of ceramic production in Russia.

A similar phenomenon has been occurring for many centuries on the rich clay-rich lands of the westerwald region of present-day Germany.
After 1999, the famous master of the ceramic cluster Gzhel Sergey Isaev created the artel "Isaev and Ko". Among other things, a series of 3D style mugs were released from the creative workshops of the artel Sergey Isaev. And many of them are in a single version. This is due to the subtle improvisation of the author within the framework of specific given forms.
The artist's path. Sergey Vladimirovich Isaev was born in 1969 in the city of Yegoryevsk, Moscow region of the USSR. In 1988, Isaev graduated from the Gzhel Art and Industrial College. Since 1989, Isaev has worked in the Gzhel production association as a sculptor, modeler, and artist.
Since 1993, Isaev has worked for the Galaktika production company.
Since 1997, Isaev has become a freelance artist.
Isaev is a participant of: All-Russian, Republican, Regional, personal exhibitions.
Sergey Isaev has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2000.
