Stadtbrauerei Spalt - Maßkrug
We lived next door to Spalt when I was stationed in Ansbach (2007-2010). We loved to spend time in Spalt on the weekends, especially during fest events and floh-markts, where I very often found old and special steins from the locals who were downsizing or just decided it was time to let someone else enjoy them.
This mug, while acquired in Spalt, is not old, post WW2 piece, probably 1970s-1980s or so, but it represents Spalt well nevertheless. It also reminds me of the special times we spent there. I do have some other older steins I found in Spalt, including some very nice brewery memorabilia, like enamel signs, boxes of beer/brewery coasters, many beer glasses and mugs, keg items, and more. Fun place!!
