Simon Peter Gerz made steins 1862-1999. This "Faces in circles with saying" is about 5-1/4" tall and 7-1/8" to the lid. It has a 0.5L capacity mark and a hand scribed mold number 913. They also made a 3L master stein. No Gerz logo or Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. It may have been made 1862-1886.
