Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994, this art nouveau stein is about 5-1/2" tall. It has a 0,5L capacity mark and #2181 on the base, no makers mark or Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany on all exports. This style was started around 1880, and was most popular 1890-1910.
