Named to Sp-5 James R. Jefferson. He was in the 176th Engineer Platoon. The front also states "Special Troops" and is dated January '65 to December '66. The left side features the insignia of United States Army In Europe (USAREUR). The right side features the coat of arms of Heidelberg. The finial is the battlements representing Army Engineering and the thumblift is the Bavarian Lion.
