Reinhold Merkelback made steins 1882-2007, this beautiful "Mother-in-law stein with music box base" is about 9-3/4" tall. It has a 1/2L capacity mark, mold #680, an F and Geschutzt on the base but no RM logo or Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. Possibly made 1882-1886, or purchased in Germany and somehow ended up in the USA.
