1/2 Liter Mettlach stein, mold 1400. It is undecorated (blank).
Inside the inlaid lid is a pewterer's mark which is hard to decypher. 'Danzig' is all I can distinguish. Danzig is now called Gdansk, and is located in Poland. Until the First World War however, it was part of the German empire.
