Blown yellowish-green glass.
Blue floral prunts on the body, twisted rope on the handle, and serrated edge rope rings around the neck.
Heavy pewter lid and 5 ring hinge with rosettes. The pewter is not marked, but would have been applied by either the Gebrüder Thannhauser firm or the Joseph Lichtinger & Cie firm (both in Munich).
The inscription on the stein reads "In Remembrance" and what appears to be "DB".
