Simon Peter Gerz made steins 1862-1999. This "Lovers" stein is about 7" tall and has a 0.4L capacity mark and mold number 866. No Gerz logo or Germany. It was made in 8 sizes from 0,4L to 6L. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. It may have been made 1862-1933 when WW2 started.
