This Schierholz & Sohn character stein in the design of a tower from the Munich Frauenkirche, was manufactured about 1889 for the finishing firm Martin Pauson. It is marked with "Martin Pauson Muenchen gesetzl. geschuetzt (patended) No. 126".

The lithophane shows the statue of Bavaria in front of the Rumeshalle that overlooks the Theresienweise where the Oktoberfest is held.

A version of this stein is in the Munich City Museum, Inventory number K-44/30 and also is listed in the Schierholz & Sohn Catalog, number 126 in the Beer Stein Library.
