Albert Jacob Thewalt made steins 1897-2009, this "Imperial Yacht Meteor III" stein is about 10" tall. It has a 0,5L capacity mark #243 and Musterschutz and the first Thewalt logo used 1897-1907 and no Germany.
The central image on this stein depicts the Meteor III, a German Imperial yacht commissioned by Kaiser Wilhelm II. The New York built yacht was christened in 1902 by Alice Roosevelt, daughter of then President Theodore Roosevelt, in a ceremony attended by both the President and German Prince Heinrich, brother of the Kaiser.
