Marzi & Remy - mold 1829

From the collection of Mike Finn

Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This "Student Prank" is about 7-1/2 tall. It has a 0.5L capacity mark, mold #1829, M&R logo and a small "Made in Germany" ink stamp on the base. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made 1887-1939 when WW2 started.
