Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This "Gnomes Fighting" is about 7-1/2" tall. It has a small 1/2L capacity mark and a #702 on the base. No makers mark or Germany. It was required to have Germany or Made in Germany in 1887 on all exports. The heavy three ring pewter hinge is thought to have been used around 1875-1895. This stein may have been made 1879-1886.
