The front of the stein has the insignia of the 78th Engineer Battalion. Above is "78th Engineer Battalion". Below it is CO (commanding officer) B Company. Around the base is the date, April 66 - Nov. 66, and the location, Ettlinger, Germany. Aroung the top it's named to Col. John J. Krajewski. On the left side is the coat of arms of Ettlinger. On the right side is the insignia of the Seventh Army. The 78th moved to Ettlinger in December of 1964.
