Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This "art nouveau Design" stein is about 4" tall. It doesn't have a makers mark or Germany. It has a 0.5L capacity mark, mold #1987 and GESETZL GESCHUTZT (Protected by Law), In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made 1880-1886.

art nouveau style started in the 1880's, ornamental style of art that flourished between about 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States. art nouveau is characterized by its use of a long, sinuous, organic line and was employed most often in architecture, interior design, jewelry and glass design, posters, and illustration.

The art nouveau style was in fashion from circa 1890 until circa 1905. So I assume this stein was designed/produced in that period, not before. The missing 'Germany' mark may simply indicate that this stein was not for export but for domestic sale within Germany.
