Cold War Stein

From the collection of Randy Satterfield

At the bottom the front of the stein it is named to Voushig Asbahian and below that is Germany 1953. This location is normal for the early fifties steins. Above it is the crossed cannons of artilery with 631 abd A, This would indicate the 631st Field Artillery Brigade. Above that is the insignia of the USAREUR (United States Army in Europe and Africa) 142nd Artillery Group The 142nd at that time was stationed in Wertheim. On either side are paintings of mobile artillery. The finial is a rather old artillery piece.
