Simon Peter Gerz made steins 1862-1999. This "Munich Child" stein has a 0.5L capacity mark and a hand scribed #212 on the base, it's about 7-1/2" tall. No makers mark or Germany on this stein. 1887 in Germany it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. Possibly this stein was made 1862-1886. This heavy three ring pewter hinge was used around 1875-1895.
