Simon Peter Gerz made steins 1862-1999. This "Mounted Knights with Saying" has a 0.5L capacity mark and mold #631, it's about 6-1/4" tall. But no Gerz logo or Germany on the base. 1887 in Germany it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made 1862-1886.
