J.W.Remy made steins 1864-1966 #1294 0,5L "Tyroleans at Home" is about 6-1/2" tall. It has a 0,5L capacity mark, mold number #1334 and Germany on the base, but no J.W. Remy logo. In1887 it was requited to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. So this stein was made after 1887 and before 1949 when it was called West Germany. The painted porcelain lid insert is so shiny it couldn't get a good picture with the reflection from the sun.
