Merkelbach & Wick made steins 1872-1921. This stein is about 6-1/2" tall, it has a 1/2L capacity mark but no mold number or M&W logo on the base. This stein was revised for the Heidelberg University's 500th anniversary 1386-1886. There is a copper lid insert of Heidelberg. This stein was probably made 1885 or 1886.
