Cold War Stein

From the collection of Randy Satterfield

56th Medical Battalion (then evacuation, now multifunctional). Central image is the 56TH MB's patch. Named to 1st Lt Robert Biggan. The sides are interesting. The right side says Germany Nov. 1965 with the city coat of arms for Heilbronn. On the left side it says Germany June 1967 with the city coat of arms of Crailsheim. This could mean different things but most likely the 56th was located in both locations (both are in Baden-Württemberg) and served time in each area.
