A glass student association stein

"Markomannia sei's Panier!", "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit!"
Those are the two prhases on the ceramic lid on this glass stein. The inside of the lid shows two names, probably one of them of the original owner of the stein. Inside the lid it is also dated 1904/1905.

I do not yet know which exact student association this stein represented. There have been more than one student associations in Germany carrying the name "Markomannia". If anybody can identify the correct association, I'd love to hear it.

The stein's condition sadly is poor: the glass has a big crack in it. Nevertheless a nice stein because of it's great lid and pewterware.
