This jug and stein were designed by Wilhelm Ratelbeck and have been produced by Reinhold Merkelbach and also by Simon Peter Gerz I. The jug and stein were also marketed for a short period of time through the sales consortium Steinzeugwerke.
the jug (mold 1664a) measured 2 liter, and the stein (mold 1664b) measured 1/4 liter.
