The model for this stein was the Frauenturm (Lady's Tower") which still exists today adjacent to 80 Königstraße, Nuremberg. It was manufactured by Marzi & Remy using their mold number 1190 for the finishing shop and distributor Felsenstein & Mainser of Nuremberg as evidenced by their mark "F&M/N". There were several variations of this stein that were produced.
