lang diesen Steinkrug noch leer.”
(Drink according to old German custom,
in the happy circle of friends,
long empty this stein.)
“Trinke friedlich, singe froehlich.”
(Drink peacefully, sing cheerfully.)
“Sei gemuethlich, zahle redlich.”
(Be comfortable, pay fairly.)
