A glass stein, dating to the second half of the 19th century.
The lid is quite special: it is a brass inlaid lid, with a "Bier Uhr" on it. What we see is a cat with a moveable tail. We can turn the tail to one of the numbers 1 through 12. I assume it is to count the number of beers that you have drunk so far on the day.
No capacity marking, but the capacity will be circa 1/2 liter.
