A romantic scene of a castle and a couple in the garden is depicted on the porcelain inlaid lid of this Regensburg type stein.
The stoneware stein was produced in the second half of the 19th century.
Fairly uncommon to find is the capacity marking on the front that reads: 1/2 L.J.
