Klosterbrau Stein
1 Lt. Klosterbrau stein from Bamberg in Bavaria. This brewery has been in use since 1333 and was taken over in 1533 by the Prince Bishops who owned it until 1790 when it passed into private hands. After changing owners a number of times in 1851 it was taken over by the Braun family who ran it until 2017 when they passed it to the Worner family of brewers.
A partial makers mark is just discernible using the brass rubbing technique.
