Writing on lower part of stein reads: “Frischer Trunk labt’s Jägerblut. tut auch andern Menschen gut”. Bottom of stein, writing barely legible reads, ’Germany’.

Your stein was produced by the company Marzi & Remy. It probably dates to circa 1890~1910.
The hole in the base is not original. At some point someone will have turned the stein into the base of a lamp, and drilled a hole in the base for the electric wiring.
