This ivory stoneware by Merkelbach and Wick is very rare. The stein has a picture of a Draisine Bicycle (early bike) and a Biedermeier gentleman in period suit. Ivory color was developed by MW.
The designer of the stein is Franz Ringer, one of the premier designers. He designed from 1903 to 1917 when he died from cancer.
