Ruby flashed glass stein, blown with handle attached and pewter lid with similar insert. The body features 6 panels, alternating ruby and etched (frosted), each with alternating cut-to-clear stars and round windows. Similar patterns are cut on insert and base. The handle has a vertical ruby stripe. Base shows rubbing wear consistent with date of c 1840-1850. *Handle is restored.
