A historismus style decorated stein, produced around 1890~1910 by the company Merkelbach & Wick in Grenzhausen, Germany.
The stein in the photo is an example that was supplied to pewterer Jakob Stuhler of Augsburg. The pewterer's factory marking is visible inside the lid.
