Thewalt Lion Stein
The stein is ceramic, glazed black with gold bands at top and bottom. A thin pewter plate extends from one side of the handle to the other and is embossed with three lion heads holding rings in their teeth. Atop the pewter lid sits a wonderfully detailed winged lion with red jewels for eyes.
