Saeltzer Porcelain Stein - Farewell

August Saeltzer

From the collection of Randy Satterfield

This is a painting inspired by the "Farewell" scene in "The Trumpeter of Sackingen". But it's not the usual copy of the Carl Schweninger engraving. See [link] This is from the Schweninger engraving and is not a Saeltzer.
One of the porcelain steins produced by the Saeltzer firm during the ownership of Louis Martini.
