A very large stoneware jug, made in the westerwald region in Germany.
This jug measures circa 71 centimeters and was made in the last quarter of the 19th century (circa 1870 ~ 1890).
A rare jug to find because of its size.
This jug has several defects, for instance the missing base (replaced by a wooden base), the broken and reglued handle and several smaller damaged details.
