Light grey stoneware stein, salt glazed and styled with grey ornaments and an inscription by unknown artist. Nach des Tages Last und Müh´leert sich der Krug man weiss nicht wie (After the day load and trouble the stein is empty and one does not know how). The capacity mark 1/2 L. is in front of the stein and a sign for an early production. Pewter lid (with saying: Trinkt Brüder trinkt bis der letzte zu Boden sinkt). and producer mark from 1882, mold 26 and height 17,5 cm.
