The central text translates: "JAKOB LOWEN, Andenken aus Duisburg Deutschland 1914. Gew. von Deine Tochter Adriana, Schwiegersohn Wilhelm u. Kleinkind Antoinetta" - "Memories from Duisburg, Germany, 1914. Presented by your daughter Adriana, your son-in-law Wilhelm and small baby Antoinetta". This would have been a gift from Jakob's daughter and her family on the event of his second wedding. It's hand painted.
