A replica bearded man jug (Bartmann Krug), produced by Reinhold Merkelbach in the early 20th century as part of a series of 45 reproductions of historic jugs. Reinhold Merkelbach copied originals that were in museums all over Germany. The original of this model came from the Suermondmuseum in Aachen.Salt glazed jug in cologne brown with pewter lid. On the base the producer mark and mold no. 10. Height 18 cm, capacity 1 L.
