art nouveau stein styled by Carl Moos for Merkelbach & Wick in 1910. Light grey stein, salt glazed and with a handpainted decoration of enamel colors and the saying: Sei guter Ding, Lieb trink und sing (Be by good things, love drink and sings). Styled pewter lid with ornaments and a night watchman. Producer base mark from 1912 and the number 21 on the right side near the stand. Capacity mark 1/2 L.
