art nouveau bowl styled by Charlotte Krause for Merkelbach in 1911/1912. Salt glazed stein in Cologne brown with floral pattern and lines. Flower bubbels and 4 different birds in oval fields coming out of the body. Base marks: Merkelbach mark from 1903, mold nr. 2316, capacity 4 litre. Height from base to the top of the lid 24,5 cm.
