Nice Heavy 1 Liter Stein
Pug Transfer of Munich
Mark Is for P Keramik
Steinmarks has this to say: This company is one of the mysteries in West German pottery, seeming to appear in the early-seventies and disappear by the eighties with no paper trail so far discovered. It was mainly known for lava lamps and vases with heavy splashy glazes.

Hello William,
there are new informations about P-Keramik:
P-Keramik" was a brand of a company which was founded by Karl Pflugk in 1963 in Neu-Isenburg after he left his hometown Coswig with his family in 1961.
In 1968, Karl Pflugk relocated his business to Ãœttingen in Lower Franconia und built up a productive industrial production under the name of "Isenburger Keramik".

Karl Pflugk died in 1996. The company was continued by the family until 2003, most recently with the production of tiled stoves.
The brand "P-Keramik" was already used in the 1930's by the company of Otto Pflugk (the father of Karl Pflugk) in Coswig/Anhalt.

Kind regards
Ralf

The town is named "Uettingen" but the letter "Ü" is incorrectly depicted in my first comment above.

The German collector's magazine is called "Troedler".
The letter "ö" is incorrectly depicted in my second comment above. The magazine in German language is available via the publisher "Gemi Verlag", Germany. At the moment, I am working on an English translation of it.
