A soccer stein, produced by Dümler & Breiden in the beginning of the 20th century. The decoration on the body of this stein is of a soccer player. On both sides of the stein there are phrases:
"Oh, wonnevolles FußballSpiel," and "du schönstes Spiel der Jugend.", which translates as "Oh you beautiful game of soccer.. you are the best game for the youth."
The terra sigillata range was a series of stoneware items, designed and produced in the early part of the 20th century in Germany. Produced by the wellknown company Dümler & Breiden, who are also known to have produced many other styles and shapes of stoneware and pottery items, well into the 20th century.
