A beautiful art nouveau pewter lid on this 1/2 liter stein by Marzi & Remy. The lid was made by Brüder Thannhauser for the company Karl Schüssel in Munich. Their vendor's mark is cast into the inside of the lid. See [link] .
Text on the body reads: "Hinkete Hunkete I' bin a' Bunkete." and "München 1908".
The design is attributed to Ludwig Hohlwein.
