Large collectible beer mug "The German Empire Eagle Crest Stein", which is the first in a collection series called "Europäische Kaiser- und Königreichshumpen" (European Imperial and Royal mugs).
This series was produced by the German ceramic factory WW Team - Bierkrüge & Geschenke GmbH (WW-Team). WW-Team is based in Ransbach-Baumbach, westerwald region, Germany. This region has historically been known for the production of high-quality ceramics.
This series consists of 10 different models, each of which was produced in a limited edition of only 500 copies. The designer of the beer mugs in this series was Joachim Malessa. This mug is the first in this series and it is dedicated to the German Empire (1871-1918). Each beer mug was assigned an individual number. This particular mug was given the number 401. There is no other such mug with this number. This beer mug is decorated with symbols of the power of the German Empire (1871-1918). The central place on its surface is occupied by the coat of arms of the empire (eagle) on a background of black, white and red colors of the imperial flag. At the bottom of the mug there is a lithophany with a portrait of the last German Emperor (Kaiser) Wilhelm II (years of life 1859-1941). William II is a representative of the Hohenzollern dynasty, the eldest son of Frederick III and the British Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. On the lid is a miniature replica of the crown of the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne (years 748-814).
