The mug was made in 1997 by order of the American brewery Anheuser-Busch in Brazil at the Ceramarte factory in a limited edition of 25 thousand copies. Louis the Lizard is a famous character from the popular Budweiser television advertising campaign. The mug is handmade in the technique of ceramic sculpture. The mug depicts Louis clinging to his Budweiser bottle and deftly removing the lid. Its long tail completely encircles the base of the mug. Louis's head, together with the top of the Budweiser bottle, forms a very distinctive cap.
The envious Louis, who has always remained in the shadow of the popular Budweiser frogs, has finally found a reason to be happy. Now his memory will forever be immortalized by this unique beer mug with a height of 27 cm.
