S.P. Gerz "The Butcher Hans Popp's Mug".

You can watch a video about this mug at the link: [link]

The 0.5 L mug was made at the S.P. Gerz ceramic factory in the 1950s and 60s. The mug is decorated with an image of a bull's head crowned with a crown and with two axes. In Germany, this is considered the professional mark of butchers.
There is an inscription on the ribbons on the sides, which translates to: "It's better to ruin the world than to let the butcher die."
This phrase was considered a popular saying in the professional community of German butchers.
The name of the butcher to whom this mug was dedicated can be seen above the bull's head. This is Hans Popp.
