A collector's figurative beer mug made of porcelain "Cigar Bulldog". The mug has a capacity of 0.75 liters and a height of 30 cm. It was manufactured in 1997 in Germany by the porcelain factory Albert Stahl & Co., with the participation of the Porzellanmanufactur und Krugwerkstätte Thüringen (PKT) factory. The mug was produced in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces. This mug was assigned the individual number 259 as part of this limited series. There is no other mug with this number. In the catalog of products from the Albert Stahl & Co. factory, the mold for this mug model has the number X150.
The "Cigar Bulldog" mug is the first model in the "Man's Best Friend" series, which consists of 22 models. This series is dedicated to popular dog breeds.
This mug features a rugged bulldog wearing a Hawaiian shirt. The bulldog is smoking a Churchill-sized cigar and guarding a stack of cigar boxes labeled "Habana," "Coronas," "Presidente," and "Panatellas." The bulldog's head serves as a hinged porcelain lid with a tin mechanism. The mug's handle is designed as a large cigar connected to the dog's collar by a chain.
