This antique mug was made at the glass factory of the famous Bavarian noble family von Poschinger. The Poschinger manufactory is a manufacturer of glassware located in the lower Bavarian community of Frauenau in the Bavarian Forest. Founded in 1568, the company was the oldest glass manufacturer in Germany and the world's oldest continuously family-owned glass manufacturer.

The presented mug was made using blowing technology by blowing molten glass into a pre-prepared metal mold.
The mug was made before 1872. This is evidenced by the technology of its production, as well as the lack of a measurement for the mug's capacity and the three-loop hinge on the device for attaching the tin lid to the handle.
The tin figure of a drinking dwarf in the form of a lifting lever emphasizes the uniqueness of this product.
