1L capacity and calibration marks top center
Very large and beautifully designed thumblift - (the white line under the word is just lighting.)
So much detail in this Tall Tale of the Hunt scene. Even the doggy seems captivated? Ha ha.
Solid pewter ring around the base - noti e the turn lines, (not sure of the technical name for them?)
The marks are very distinct. The one (1) is just a line. The “L” has small extensions on each end. And the calibration mark has different extension marks on each end.
No distinguishable marks underneath lid. Closed 5 ring hinge.
Jägerlatein - Stoneware Masskrug/Maßkrug.
Jägerlatein. means “tall tales of the hunt” or “hunter’s tall tales”. And if you look closely at the inlay scene, they are all completely captivated by the hunter’s tall tales of the hunt, with beer, of course. Really nice design with lots of small details.
The 1L is on front top of masskrug.
